DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·College degree in related field (public health, biology, health sciences)

·1-2 years of experience in a health related field

·Knowledge and experience of research methods (data collection, analysis, etc.)

·Experience working with children under the age of 5

·Experience working in a clinical setting

·Fluency in English

·Excellent oral and written communication skills

·Superb organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail

·Ability to work independently

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):

Bachelors degree, or relevant experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):

The Community Coordinator will ideally have interest and experience working with underserved populations. The Coordinator must be able to communicate and interact effectively in English. This position requires a self-motivated, self-directed, highly productive individual who is able to function both as an independent contributor, leader and team player. The Community Coordinator will report directly to the Directors of the Office of Child Health Equity and be an integral part of the core office team.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

·Frequently perform desk-based computer tasks, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.

·Occasionally stand/walk, sit, use a telephone, writing by hand, and sort/file paperwork or parts.

·Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl, rarely reach/work above shoulders, and operates foot and/or hand controls.
